Age of Magic: Turn Based RPG Tier List
I enjoy the game. New content/heros are added regularly, and gameplay/artwork is pretty good. If you are the patient type, F2P is an option, but my personal experience is that purchases help tremendously. The developers will make mistakes and throw game play out of balance on occasion, but they do try to set things right. It just might take an update or two to get there.
Love this game, however in order to advance heroes and in battles, you must pay and the prices are insane. Definitely a pay to play game, otherwise you are stuck for ages trying to build up items for hero equipment etc.. Needs to be more ways to get the things needed that doesn't take forever. Otherwise very fun game and I enjoy it.
Although I am hooked on RPG games, I'm not a fan of turn based variety, but this one ALMOST feels as if you are controlling. I don't think that ANYONE can grind their way to victory. I suddenly found myself neeďing silver coins which were being "eeked out" by the game's algorithm, as is usual on most games, and for the most part, I can grind what I need. It felt foolish to try here. But I've spent PAST my budget for this sort of diversion. I would wager that my growth days are all but over.
